I am partnering with a expanding property developer, with an award-winning portfolio and some of Europe's largest urban development projects.

They are looking to bring on an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team, on a 6 month FTC.

  • Salary: £35,000
  • Duration: 6 month FTC
  • Location: City of London
  • Hybrid: Flexible working available

What can you expect?

  • Reconcile cash received into the service charge bank account to cashbook/nominal ledger.
  • Reconcile cash received into the reserves bank account to cashbook/nominal ledger.
  • Identify any reconciling items, investigate their origin and code as necessary.
  • Ensure all direct debit and payment run amounts are identified and processed on the ledger.
  • Ensure insurance receipts are appropriately allocated to the correct accounts.
  • Create bank reconciliation reports as necessary for circulation.
  • Take an active role in all projects which relate to cash receipts, allocation and payments.
  • Raise credits and reallocate cash as necessary.

What is expected of you?

  • Numeracy, professional judgement and good communication skills.
  • 2/3 years experience with reconciling credits and debits.
  • Must have exposure to accounting software packages, or any property management software would be an advantage.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills required.
