The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a fantastic Construction company, we are looking for a carpenter and you'll be reporting into a Site manger and be based full time on site.


Main duties and responsibilities of an Carpenter:


. The projects that we carry out include refurbishment of historic buildings and new build projects.
. You will be responsible for delivery of carpentry tasks reporting to our Site Manager.
. The role is site based.
. Working on all phases of a construction project which are managed internally from set up to completion.
. The role will provide a high degree of satisfaction from completion of a wide range and number of projects.


Experience/knowledge requirements for an Carpenter:


. Keen interest in construction and carpentry.
. Has a accredited carpentry apprenticeship
. Takes a pride in their work and is able to work to the standards set.
. Ability to read drawings.
. Will have good maths skills and ability to take measurements.
. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues, clients and consultants.
. Likes a project based working environment.
. Works well in a team.
. Self-motivated, forward thinking and punctual.
