As a careworker in our primary schools, you'll play a crucial role in providing essential support and assistance to students in their formative years. Your nurturing nature and experience in caregiving will be invaluable in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist in classroom activities, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized care plans and interventions.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills and promoting independence.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the overall school community.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a careworker or in a similar role, preferably in a school or childcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse needs and situations, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Relevant certifications or training in caregiving, first aid, and child protection are a plus.
