Job Title: Caretaker

Position: Part-time (16 hours) and Full Time (37 hours per week)

Role type: Temp (potential temp to perm)

Location: Hampshire

Rate: £12p/h- £14p/h (Inclusive of holiday pay)

We are currently recruiting for a caretaker to support students in an FE College.

We are looking for an enthusiastic caretaker.

The Role

To liaise closely and support the Site Supervisor and Head of Facilities to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day running, presentation, and management of the college campus, ensuring a warm, clean, safe, and secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

To carry out campus maintenance and repairs as directed by the Site Supervisor ensuring these.

works are carried out in accordance with the relevant Health and Safety legislation and to handle the day-to-day issues related to such works.

Be conversant with the Health and Safety policies relevant to the post including those relating to manual handling, working from height, control of legionella's and fire safety.

The successful applicant will have the following;

Driving license required
Previous experience in a similar role
Evidence of commitment to professional development
A good standard of Maths and English
Good organisational skills
Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
