Job Title: Caretaker

Pay: £12 an hour
Mixed shifts: (6-2, 8-4, 9-6)
Hours: Monday-Friday

Enhanced DBS required (Schools)

Main Duties include:

  • Setting the priorities for maintenance and repairs
  • Carrying out basic repairs
  • Managing access to the premises and maintaining security
  • Cleaning or supervising cleaning
  • Planning site use and development
  • Championing health and safety around the school, and supervising external contractors
  • Managing site staff

Skills and knowledge:

  • The ability to use your initiative.
  • Customer service skills.
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Sensitivity and understanding.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of public safety and security.
  • A desire to help people..
