Salary Range: £22,000 - £30,000

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Caretaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our school community, ensuring the premises are well-maintained, secure, and welcoming. This is a permanent position, requiring a commitment of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, throughout the year.

Day to Day of the role:

Maintain a safe, secure, and clean school environment, including both buildings and grounds.

Perform handyperson activities, routine maintenance, refurbishment, minor repairs, and porterage tasks.

Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is upheld throughout the school.

Promote and uphold health and safety standards within the school premises.

Provide efficient and friendly interaction with staff, pupils, and the public.

Supervise school cleaning staff as needed, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Flexibility and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.

Commitment to achieving high standards in all work tasks.

Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with staff, pupils, and the public effectively.

Experience in maintenance, handyperson activities, or a similar role is desirable.

Candidates must have a DBS clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
