Carbon Data Analyst 6 Month FTC

My client is seeking an experienced Carbon Data Analyst to enhance their understanding and facilitate informed decision-making regarding carbon emissions within the supply chain. This role will involve conducting in-depth analysis to refine the accuracy and quality of their carbon data, as well as supporting the integration and utilisation of their chosen carbon accounting engine.

Location - Horsham

Salary - £50 - 60k hybrid working and benefits

Roles & Responsibilities that are required for this role;

Building forms in the tool for the periodic collection of data across Scope 1, 2 and relevant categories of Scope 3

Ensure all relevant CO2e emissions are accounted for, identifying wider opportunities to improve on earlier less granular reporting across Scopes 1, 2 and 3

Writing a methodology for the transfer of data into this tool, and for the subsequent application of relevant emission factors

Preparing standard reports for the presentation of collected data

The ideal candidate for the role will have -

A solid understanding of CO2e data analysis, reporting and reduction

Experience in greenhouse gas emissions analysis in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Technical Guidance for Calculating Scope 3 Emissions

Strong supply chain and data excellence background
