My client is one of the UK's leading Environmental consultancies who provide their specialised services across a range of environmental topics and have a team of 100 skilled professionals. My client is looking for a Carbon and ESG Director to join their team in London.

Responsibilities for the Director level position include:

• Produce climate and carbon frameworks and develop ways to increase change in various scenarios.
• Carry out Carbon foot printing and emission data analysis to provide to clients to help them calculate their footprint.
• Undertake GHG assessments for developments, as well as developing climate change strategies and action plans to help clients reach net zero.
• Carry out decarbonisation planning and project support which will include building and energy, transport and industrial processes to reduce emissions.

Requirements for the role include:

• Relevant degree within an environmental science field, with strong experience in relation to climate change and net zero projects.
• Leadership experience relating to carbon and GHG emissions projects within the context of consultancy and delivering on these types of projects.
• Experience within a client facing role within the corporate and public sector.
• Experience with GHG emission reporting and low carbon transition.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
