I am working with a global law firm who is looking to hire a new Capital Partnerships Accountant. You will be joining a small but dedicated team, with endless opportunities to learn and progress.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, partnership structures, and investment accounting principles. They will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.

The responsibilities include:

  • Manage the accounting operations related to capital partnerships, including but not limited to capital calls, distributions, and partner allocations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, performance reports, and other financial documents for capital partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partnership transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in partnership accounting operations.
  • Participate in the preparation of investor communications, including quarterly reports and investor presentations.
  • Support audits and regulatory examinations by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to capital partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures related to capital partnerships.

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on partnership accounting or investment management
  • CAPEX experience is crucial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
