Capability Manager

Our client, a global and leading business in their field, are looking to grow their team with a new Capability Manager to join their Welwyn office on a hybrid (2/3 days) basis.

This will be a 12 Month Contract (inside IR35) and offers the opportunity to join a strong, dynamic team where your valuable skills will be vital in supporting the business.

Responsibilities as a Capability Manager

• Drive engagement and communication for Capability development across the function via various channels (intranet, chat, newsletter, etc.).
• Curate aligned learning resources for frequent organizational learning opportunities.
• Coordinate end-to-end learning activities, including calendar management, SME/vendor engagement, attendance, and feedback analysis for continuous improvement.
• Manage the LMS (Cornerstone) to develop professional curriculums and optimize the learner experience.
• Develop and oversee learning products, including delivery and design.
• Enhance and oversee functional onboarding for a personalized user experience in collaboration with the Communication and Engagement team.

Experience / Skills

• Experience within adult learning / training is essential.
• Creative and agile mindset with knowledge of agile principles, practices, and methods.
• Business acumen to understand customer needs, analyse issues, advise and/or design and deliver learning solutions.
• Track record of functional Learning and Development engagement activities and learning operations management and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Awareness of adult learning methodology and design practices, curious to learn and research the best options to develop targeted and impactful learning products.
• Commitment to continuous improvement drives you to identify areas for growth and continuously raise the quality to respond to customer needs and feedback.

Job Title: Capability Manager
Location: Welwyn - Hybrid (2/3 days in the office)
Salary: £350 - £450 per day (UMB) OR £263.88 - £339.27 per day (PAYE basic)
