Campaigns Manager
  • Pay Rate: £20.85 - £22.51 per hour (PAYE)

Sheffield City Council are looking for a Strategic Campaigns Specialist to join their Policy, Performance and Communications team within the Chief Executive’s portfolio. This role is essential for providing high-quality communications work for priority council activities, focusing on strategic and creative campaign planning, delivery, and evaluation.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Prepare, implement, deliver, monitor, and evaluate campaigns for key council priorities, ensuring accessibility and engagement with diverse audiences.
  • Deliver the Communications Team’s business plans and strategies, ensuring high-quality content, plans, and activities are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Play a leading role in delivering our Communications Strategy and make strategic decisions based on agreed priorities.
  • Work with colleagues across the Communications Team to ensure priority campaigns are shared widely, through internal channels, and through the media as appropriate.
  • Manage tools, channels, and events to ensure successful and accessible delivery of communications work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in producing outstanding creative content and campaigns across various platforms.
  • Ability to make decisions efficiently, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in delivering against agreed communications strategies, policies, and standards.
  • Significant experience or qualifications in communications, marketing, journalism, media, public relations.
