Campaign Lead - £35,000 - Worthing (Hybrid)

Our utilities client is currently seeking a Campaign Lead to join their team in Worthing, this will be a hybrid role and you will be required to come into the office 2 days a week. Reporting to the Customer Communications Manager, you'll help to develop and execute the customer communications strategy. You'll take ownership for designing and delivering exciting and impactful customer comms. This will include driving the clients saving campaign , reputation building and regular marketing campaigns that help customers to self-serve, reduce costs, understand what do in an emergency and much more. You'll develop insight and data led creatives, review the performance and effectiveness of each campaign, ensuring learnings are applied to future communications. As well as written campaigns, you'll be involved in co-ordinating successful face to face customer drop in events across our region, and so project management and event co-ordination will be a large part of the role.


Responsibilities:

  • Working with the wider Communications team, be responsible for the creation and sign off of all campaign materials, ensuring compliance with style guides and brand guidelines
  • Responsible for creating and deploying effective email and paid for campaigns
  • Management of campaign budgets, analytics and monthly reporting on all elements of campaign success
  • Ownership of direct customer communications channels, including our text messaging service and our monthly customer newsletter tool, DotDigital
  • You'll help find venues, secure dates and working with different areas of the business to identify the key topics relevant to that area
  • Maintain a close working relationship with our customer insight and behaviour science team to ensure our communications are aligned with research.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside of the business, seeking to influence and promote campaign objectives at all times.
  • Join our incident rota - being part of a team, helping to ensure the best customer outcomes during incidents


About you:

  • At least 5 years' experience of delivering consumer marketing campaigns
  • Strong marketing and project management experience
  • Knowledge or experience in delivering behaviour change through marketing
  • Working knowledge of email platforms
  • Ability to use data and insight to create effective customer communications
  • Campaign planning skills across both online and offline, earned, paid and owned channels
  • Ability to translate campaign objectives into creative executions
  • Excellent copywriting skills for, but not limited to, email and direct customer communications, adverts and social media posts
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and measurement
  • Experience working in a busy operational, highly regulated environment
  • Able to manage and work on a diverse range of projects simultaneously
  • A high level of resilience and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
