  • Job Title: CAMHS Practitioner
  • Band 6
  • Location: Kent
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Schedule: 9-5 Monday to Friday 
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of pay: £25 - £27 p/h umbrella days
  • Must holder a Valid Full UK Drivers License

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled CAMHS Practitioner to provide compassionate and effective mental health support to children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent mental health, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties, utilizing a range of assessment tools and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and their families, utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and educators to ensure integrated and holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
  • Provide consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the care of children and adolescents.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • Current and valid registration with the NMC.
  • Proven experience within a CAMHS Service experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
