Calibration Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting Contract opportunity for an experienced Calibration Engineer to join our Automotive client's inclusive and friendly team. This Contract Calibration Engineering role is based in Crewe and offers a favourable rate of £31 per hour (Outside IR35).

As a Calibration Engineer, you will be working 2 days at onsite, the duration of the contract will be 1 year.

As Calibration Engineer you will be involved with the following:

• Coordinating with ECU engineers to ensure reports at each milestone, detailing the achievements at the respective milestones for the individual work packages
• Providing regular updates on the technical status of all calibration activities
• Support the review of ECU calibration release process documents.

To apply for this Calibration Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Good Experience with Automotive Thermal and HVAC systems and components, Vehicle electrical Architecture/Integration, Calibration process.

• Experience with planning, monitoring and release, ECU SW release management, team management, and co-ordination with other cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of battery electric vehicles, EV modules, high power systems e.g., High voltage (48V,400V, 800V) and current (20A)
• Experience with functional safety aspects (ISO 26262) and FMEA (Design & Process) reviews.
