A brand-new opportunity for an experienced CAD technician to join a successful and expanding manufacturing business in the Dudley area.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Draw new jobs using Auto Cad ensuring the specifications and quantity match the order acknowledgement.
  • Use architect drawings or customer sketches to ensure drawings are correct.
  • Revise drawings to client's comments.
  • Check drawings for any cost change and notify the estimating dept. when this occurs
  • Work with customers to try and hit requested delivery dates by working closely with the production department.
  • Ensure projects are ready for manufacture including any additional details or drawings.
  • Using Microsoft Excel, call jobs up for manufacture for use in the factory
  • Interact with the customers through email and phone calls, typically questions and comments about the drawings.
  • Manage emails for the supply only process of orders.
  • Issue drawings for the supply only process of orders, requesting any outstanding information to aid the speedy approval of drawings.
  • Any Other Duties as required by Cad Team Leader or Senior Management
Qualifications required for job role:

Minimum 5 GCSE A -C
CAD experience

Full time Monday to Friday (Office based)
08.30 am to 5.00 pm
