Location: Lincoln or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000

The role of the CAD Technician - Commercial Fit Out will involve:

• CAD Technician position dealing with a range of commercial fit out projects
• Liaising regularly with clients to gain a full understanding of the project brief
• Producing 2D AutoCAD designs and developing concept designs into detail drawings for pricing
• Detailing for construction, fit-out and joinery
• Regularly liaising with construction team to ensure all relevant information is obtained
• Attend internal and external design meetings as required (could be National travel involved)
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders providing support and resolving queries
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
• Working on projects varying in value up to circa £4m

The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician - Commercial Fit Out industry with:

• Must have 5+ years AutoCAD experience within the construction market sector
• Must have a strong technical knowledge of building regulations, ideally with experience in the fit out market sector
• Would consider CAD Technician, Design Engineer, Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician, Revit Designer, BIM Technician or similar (providing you have experience with 2D AutoCAD)
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
