CAD / Project Co-Ordinator Wanted

A UK market leading company in the supply, manufacture, design, installation and service of pumping equipment, is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team in the CAD department.

The role will involve the controlling and progression of new contracts from design to procurement of materials through to delivery, in an effective and efficient manner, within a challenging yet rewarding industry.

Responsibilities

  • Produce drawings using 2D AutoCAD
  • Produce parts list
  • Assist with the procurement of materials on a competitive price basis
  • Document and file
  • Feedback of information to manager, e.g. market trends, customers requirement etc
  • Support client queries, build rapport and establish customer loyalty
  • Liaise with customers
  • Site visits as required
  • Ensure all products are purchased in compliance with mandatory requirements
  • Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
  • Communicate at all levels
  • Identify training needs to enable you to carry out your job role efficiently and safely
  • Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy
Requirements

Knowledge

  • General understanding of engineering principle
  • Computer competency (Office, AutoCAD)
Experience

  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Abel to read engineering drawings
Qualification / Education / Training

  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office) is essential
  • Excellent communication skills is desirable
  • AutoCAD competency is essential
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification (BTEC, ONC etc), Maths is desirable
Skills & Competence

  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Team player
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
  • Multitask and manage multiple projects
