Cable Technician

Location : Silverstone, Northamptonshire
Monday to Friday
Salary : £24,920 - £31,200 depending on experience

Additional Benefits : On site parking, One site canteen.

We are supporting our client with their search for a skilled Cable Technician. This is a fully hands-on role and will require you to have mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand and power tools. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairing various types of cables and wiring systems.

Requirements for the candidate:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with power tools
- Cable Technician experience
- Understanding of warehouse operations and stock management
- Effective problem-solver
- Proficient in using hand tools for cable assembly and installation
- Able to work in a team or independently
- Strong communicator

Responsibilities of the role:

- Use power tools to drill holes, secure cables and mount brackets
- Assemble and connect cables according to specifications
- Install, maintain, and repair cables and wiring systems
- Test cables for proper functionality and troubleshoot any issues
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or questions
