We’re now looking for two Cabinet Makers / Joiners / Boat Builders to come on board and dazzle our customers with their skills, knowledge and exquisite craftsmanship.

The Role

As a Cabinet Maker / Joiner / Boat Builder, you’ll undertake a range of activities that will help turn our customers’ ideas and concepts into beautifully crafted yachts.

With exemplary care and precision, you’ll ensure every curve, surface and detail has a high-quality finish and is tailored to our customers’ requirements.

Specifically, you will:

- Lead a small, dedicated team
- Undertake bench joinery including making bulkheads and furniture units
- Install bulkheads, panels, furniture, fittings and linings
- Scribe in units, both timber and GRP and trim and adjust to fit correctly
- Fit deck hardware, portlights and hatches

About You

To join us as a Cabinet Maker / Joiner / Boat Builder, you will need:

- Experience as a Cabinet Maker, Joiner and/or Boat Builder
- A great set of skills and knowledge of joinery and fit out of boats
- The ability to work methodically with great attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team

The ability to read, understand and work from CAD drawings would be beneficial to your application, as would experience and knowledge of other boat building activities.

Other organisations may call this role Carpenter, Fitter, Cabin Fitter, Marine Fitter, or Yacht Builder.
