Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnering with an established and ambitious construction business based in Epsom, Surrey. Seeking a skilled individual with excellent negotiation and communication skills, the ability to drive changes and with a strong electrical purchasing background.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within an exciting business and be a part of great future plans. You will be responsible for ensuring materials meet British Standards requirements, on-time delivery and negotiating best prices, whilst assisting with day-to-day activities within the team.

Buyer responsibilities:
- Management of material requisitions
- Working with other departments resolving discrepancies
- Raising orders into accounts systems
- Ensure on-time delivery by chasing suppliers
- Negotiation of orders, contract reviews and annual discounts with suppliers
- Reviewing and choosing new products & components
- Reviewing and raising of invoices
- Occasional cover for other members of the Purchasing team
Required Skills & Experience:
- Electrical Buying experience
- Good negotiation skills
- Mechanical Buying experience (Desirable)
- Previous exposure to working within a Construction industry (Desirable)
- Previous experience working with various ERP/ Procurement Systems
