About The Role
The role:
Working as a Buyer at Machine Mart is a challenging role that offers a real opportunity to build your career within our growing company.
This role is fully office-based in our Nottingham Head Office. We are close to the City centre, with good links to the bus and tram network and the local train station.
Impressive growth from our current product range of over 13,000 lines and huge scope for further expansion has created this exciting career opportunity for a Buyer, within our Purchasing Team.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will responsible for further development of existing ranges as well as researching, proposing, sourcing and managing new ranges.
As an experienced Buyer with a proven background in buying for a retail or hard goods business you’ll already be a skilled negotiator, able to achieve the very best deals from new and existing suppliers.
You’ll already possess excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail and a genuine pro-active attitude. Ideally, you should also have some knowledge of or experience using at least some products from our vast range.
