Quest Search & Selection are currently working with a leading supplier in the fashion and footwear industry. They are looking for a Buyer to join the team.

Key responsibilities of this Buyer:

  • Assist with sourcing, developing, and delivering a commercially focused and well balance product range alongside the Junior Merchandiser.
  • Aim to develop ranges to maximise sales and profit aligned to brand market position/ value.
  • Continually exceed customer expectations through delivering a consistent , commercial , well-balanced range and attend sign-off meetings
  • Work as part of a team with merchandising, design & QA.
  • Negotiations with suppliers and factories directly focusing on margin management and cementing a long-term relationship with suppliers.
  • Build effective working relationships across the business and developing team members at a BAA/AB level

Key requirements of this Buyer:

  • Ideally 3 plus years Buying experience in junior buyer or buyer level.
  • Ideally have experience in fashion, Accessories or footwear but other categories will be considered.
  • Previously been involved in NPD.
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills are essential.
