Description

  • Actively sourcing and procuring products to meet business requirements.
  • Developing sourcing strategies and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintaining and managing relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand.
  • Coordinating with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Performing risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
  • Continuously improving purchasing methods and driving down external spend.

Profile

  • Buyer will have:
  • Proven experience as a Material Planner / Buyer in retail/fmcg/industrial manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques Inc. supplier management would be desirable.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
