Business Studies Teacher

Your new company
Hays Education are seeking a highly motivated Business Studies Teacher to join a school in Durham. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in Business Studies. Ideally this job is full time, however for the right candidate, a job share on a part-time basis may be suitable.
Your new role
- Delivering high-quality Business Studies lessons to students in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Planning and preparing lessons, ensuring that they are engaging, challenging, and meet the needs of all learners.

- Setting and marking assessments and providing feedback to students to help them progress.

- Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing intervention and support where necessary.

- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including attending meetings, parents' evenings, and school events.

- Upholding the school's values and ethos, and promoting a positive learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of delivering Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business Studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on update service required.
