Business Lecturer

• Annual Salary: £31,357 to £43,729 including London Weighting

Day to Day of the Role of a Business Lecturer:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to students enrolled in Business courses, including BTEC First, National, and Higher National Diplomas, Access to HE, and T Levels.
• Develop and utilise innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject area and current educational practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Business Lecturer post:

• A degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in delivering BTEC programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.
• Strong ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• A team player with a collaborative mindset.
• A teaching qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards achieving a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector.
