Leica Geosystems is currently looking for a Business Executive – Recurring Revenue to come and join our team. The role will be office based, with occasional travel between the sites and you will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Purpose of the Business Executive role:

You will be responsible for ensuring that all activities relating to the function of recurring revenue are undertaken in a professional manner for the UK and Ireland region.  These include commercial Customer Care Packages (CCPs) and subscriptions to various software and services (including SmartNet).  This includes communication with customers and distribution partners on the products and services available to support their activities and products, as well as producing and following up quotations; processing the resultant orders in SAP and ensuring all follow-up activity is planned and executed.  There is also contact with the central teams supporting these products and customers.

Working closely with the wider sales teams is expected, to ensure effective and comprehensive customer communication, as well as interaction with the other customer success functions such as technical support, logistics and customer care across the UK and Ireland entities.

Key responsibilities as our Business Executive will include:

  • Maintaining and growing both the quantity and associated revenue of Customer Care Packages (CCP) business for Leica Geosystems, SCCS and M&P in the UK
  • Proactively promoting, quoting and transacting all after sales products offered by LGS to generate revenue for the business
  • Liaising and supporting other departments and legal entities where necessary on the CCP and subscription products range
  • Handling general incoming enquiries from customers, prospects, and sales personnel
  • Processing of customer orders through the SAP system
  • Assisting customers with CCP and SmartNet selection and recommendations
  • Liaising with other stakeholders where required, including sales, technical support and management
  • Following up and closing outstanding opportunities
  • Assisting the wider sales team with complex quotations and customer alignment
  • Assisting in developing, maintaining and managing the flow of data to the CRM system
  • Being an internal champion for the use of Salesforce CRM
  • Developing positive relationships with customers, distribution partners and internal staff at all levels
  • Adhering to established processes and workflows and providing input on new processes and workflows as needed to meet customer requirements and business needs

What we’re looking for in our Business Executive:

  • Knowledge and experience of carrying out a range of administrative tasks and processes
  • A well-organised, thorough, and flexible approach to managing workload
  • A proven record of producing work to exceptional levels of accuracy
  • Logical thinking and an ability to analyse data and make key decisions based on that data
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of MS products, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be beneficial 
  • Working knowledge of CRM (preferably SFDC)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire to develop, grow and maintain customer needs and relationships
  • A good team ethic and positive attitude
  • The ability to identify process improvements and confidence in suggesting practical solutions
  • The ability to collaborate and work in remote teams
  • The ability to promote various services to end user and distribution customers
