Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum - OTE £35,000

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Representative. The Business Development Representative will operate on a 180 business-to-business relationship, and your role will be integral to the subsequent revenue generation at Bluetown Online. You will be responsible for generating leads with prospective clients over the phone and via email, and booking in appointments, proposals, meetings, and product demonstrations for the senior sales team to lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate potential leads
  • Schedule appointments, proposals, meetings, and demos for the sales team with prospective clients or leads
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, provide information, and follow up on sales activities
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other departments
  • Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems by updating client information, tracking interactions, and managing sales pipelines
  • Check in with clients before meetings to confirm attendance
  • Provide advice on job advertising, recruitment, and SaaS solutions

Requirements:

  • 6 months to a year of previous experience in a B2B sales position
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Proven experience working under pressure to deadlines
  • Confidence in objection handling and problem handling
  • Able to relate and build rapport with new people
  • Affable, personable and enjoys presenting to groups of all sizes and level

Compensation:

  • Full-time position with a salary of up to £25,000
  • OTE £35,000
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and you'll get an extra 2 'duvet days' after the first year
