Overall objective and scope:

We have an exciting role working for a progressive disruptor in the cosmetics and skin care industry. Our client, a leading name in planet positive and scientifically proven skin health are looking for New Business development managers to cover 2 different territories in the Southeast of England (Greater London & Surrey and Surrounding Areas).

They are looking for motivated and results driven individuals to work in field-based roles. The successful candidates will play a crucial part in nurturing, maintaining and maximising strong relationship to deliver sustainable growth. They will provide specialist advice, develop growth plans, share innovation, and work collaboratively with their key accounts.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • As a field-based Account Manager, you will be responsible for maximising business opportunities within designated accounts to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Your proactive approach will enable you to identify new business opportunities within your geographical area while also recognising additional openings within existing accounts.
  • With a strong sense of accountability, you will efficiently manage your workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all agreed actions and requests.
  • Building robust relationships, both internally and externally, will be key to influencing others and achieving exceptional results.
  • Your ability to analyse the strengths and coaching opportunities of salon teams/businesses will allow you to offer valuable solutions and mini training sessions to increase revenue.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrating a proven track record of increasing revenue and cultivating relationships with new and existing account partnerships, exceeding targets.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of sales and education skills, including questioning and negotiation techniques, as well as development and coaching skills.
  • Approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindset and maintaining a positive attitude when faced with objections or obstacles.
  • Exhibiting excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in video calls, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
