Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Head of Sales

Location: Essex (with some travel)

Job Overview

Our client is a leading Telecomms company based in Essex who are recruiting for a hungry new Business Development Manager.

Split between the office, home and in the field - booking appointments from self-generated and qualified leads, selling innovative technical solutions into the hospitality industry.

Role Objectives.

  • Create and deliver a business development strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Qualify and pursue key decision makers, from specific markets and key accounts.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, secure meetings, and provide solutions to meet requirements.
  • Create and maintain long term relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders.
  • Design proposals, and tailored presentations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage sales pipeline / prioritisation / time-lines.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers / delivery teams to ensure deadlines are achieved on projects.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years'B2B experience selling technical solutions or "bigticket" merchandise in a new business development role.
