We are currently working with a growing manufacturing business within the sheet metal fabrication industry, and are now looking for a Business Development Manager
The primary responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be to:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Ideal candidates for the Business Development roles will have/be:
- Proven experience in business development or sales role
- Familiarity with CRM software is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Essentially you will have a proven knowledge of the laser cutting/sheet metal/fabrication industry, having worked in this environment previously.
