Business Development Manager

BTL Mortgages

Midlands

We are looking for an experienced BTL BDM to come on board and develop mortgage enquiries and applications from external brokers and introducers. Maintain and build relationships with external introducers to maximize all business opportunities from these relationships. Further develop external business relationships with Key Networks and Clubs and to continually grow our reach within the market.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure timely, accurate and appropriate responses to all enquiries
  • To build and maintain effective long-term relationships with all external introducers
  • Maintain and update an online diary of appointments
  • To proactively manage all external introducer relationships to ensure that the maximum business volume is extracted from all these relationships
  • To handle enquiries from all potential new introducer partners and proactively manage these leads to develop new long-term business relationships
  • Develop and manage an effective proactive process for the recording and follow up of all new external introducer leads and transactions
  • Provide MI reports to the Senior Management Team
  • Provide broker feedback on a regular basis
  • Attend external Mortgage Events where required.

Experience:

  • Experience as a BDM within a BTL Lender
  • Experience in mortgage placement and processing
  • Demonstratable experience of building and developing relationships
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong BTL market knowledge
