A good client of ours is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager for their fast-growing, internationally active, dynamic company as part of their sales team.
For this role, you MUST HAVE previous experience working in the chemical sales industry, preferably Life science sectors. You would be covering field sales nationally with your office base being in either Doncaster, Oxfordshire or North London dependent on which location works best for you. You would be required to visit your main office every other week and be out visiting clients on sales visits 3-4 days per week.
The role is centred around building new business from dormant and cold clients but there will be some account management and development of the existing live customers. Aiming to grow the business significantly over the next 2 years to hit targets.
This job is Mon-Fri with a salary of £40,000-£45,000 dependant on your experience, plus a lucrative bonus scheme and a company car.

- Seeking out new business and building relationships, converting to sales
- Travel to visit existing accounts and maintaining/developing those relationships.
- Maximise all sales opportunities, upselling and cross selling company products where appropriate.
- Convert dormant clients back into live clients
- Acquire good knowledge of company products and be able to articulate this to clients.
