Business Development Manager- Training Programmes | London | Full-Time | Salary £26500 to £30000 P.A

Business Development Manager

A full-time position is offered to an experienced proactive, agile and results-driven Business Development Manager with a focus on building your strategy to market and sell NAPAC’s training programmes to external clients in the public and private sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and marketing, with a passion for driving positive change in the field of trauma support.

NAPAC is the National Association for People Abused in Childhood. Their vision is of a world where no child experiences abuse. Until then, they envision a society in which everyone impacted by childhood abuse can access the support they need, when they need it.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will play a critical part in expanding NAPAC’s reach and impact by promoting and delivering training offerings to organisations and professionals engaging with survivors of childhood abuse.

With 3-5 years’ experience, you will be responsible for developing, promoting and implementing a strategic business development plan to market and sell NAPAC's training programmes to external clients, including fields such as policing, mental health, social work and education.

Through your market research and competitor analysis, you will need to be able to promote training programmes through various channels, such as networking events, conferences and digital marketing initiatives, identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients and developing tailored solutions.

You will be required to collaborate in the design and customisation of training materials and resources to address the specific needs of external clients, whilst tracking and analysing key performance metrics related to sales pipeline, revenue targets, and client satisfaction.

A willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours is required.

Why should you work for them?

  • You will have the opportunity to attend CPD-certified courses and train at the cutting edge of trauma-informed practice.
  • They take care of their own, so you will have access to free supervision (recognising the challenging nature of the work) and an extremely supportive team.
  • You will benefit from a competitive annual salary and access to a pension scheme. Salary will depend upon skills and experience, but they anticipate a range between £26500 to £30000.
  • They value rest and relaxation. Full-time staff typically receive 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Other benefits are being introduced including a corporate health plan to support the healthcare and wellbeing of staff and their families.
  • Expand your professional network. They work closely with government departments, NHS trusts, police forces across the UK and fellow charitable organisations.
  • Perhaps the biggest reason to consider joining them is to make a difference. Every day they help real people in their recovery from childhood abuse, and while it can be challenging, it’s also extremely rewarding. They aim to support approximately 10,000 survivors of childhood abuse each year, but with your help, they know they can reach more.
