Business Development Manager

My client is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their renowned business based in Birmingham.

• Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 5pm, Fri 08:30 - 4pm

Duties:

• Identifying new prospects as well as engaging current customer base with product offerings.
• Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.
• Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs.
• Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase.
• Liaising with internal departments to create bespoke quotes for customers.
• Following up on sales that have not converted.
• Usage of the internal CRM system to engage with active, lost and lapsed customer base.

Skills/Experience required:

• Previous experience working within a Field Sales or Business Development role.
• Industry experience not important, just the desire to win business.
• Strong negotiator with the ability to handle objections.
• Ability to think outside of the box and be proactive.
