Business Development Manager

Nottingham (hybrid), will consider full or part-time hours

Salary is based on experience + bonus.

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join Prescient Group in a newly created, exciting position.

We are looking for a business development professional who will work as an integral part of the senior team to win new clients, and new business opportunities, build brand awareness and support growth in our bottom line. We work closely as a team to achieve our goals.

The role will work closely with the company Directors to design, create, and implement the business development strategy.

We are seeking a talented, creative, and ambitious business development professional who can bring new ideas and principles to our business.

The position has a scope to grow, develop a business development team, and develop as the business continues to grow and delivers its strategy.

Keys areas of focus:

  • Develop short, medium, and long-term business development goals.
  • Building a pipeline of new clients and recruitment projects for business, monthly, quarterly
  • Researching and analysing trends in our market
  • Building our CRM system
  • Selling our temporary, contract and permanent service lines to new potential clients
  • Arranging new client's meetings
  • Contacting via telephone, email, CRM, and marketing software to potential new clients
  • Showcasing our available talent to the market / potential new business
  • Attending and pitching sales presentations to win new business.
  • Contact existing clients to cross-sell all services.
  • Negotiate with new clients/business opportunities.
  • Create marketing documents to use a business development tool.
  • Achieve revenue goals for new business/clients you bring on.
  • Manage tenders and procurement processes with public and private sector clients.
  • Supporting with tenders, RFQ’s, award applications

Attributes

  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Creative with strong commercial awareness
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in leading Business Development, preferably in a B2B, business services setting.
  • An understanding recruitment agency processes, how temporary, contract, and permanent staffing supply works
  • Good use of IT with a focus on CRM databases, marketing software, and MS Excel.
  • Full driver’s license with access to own vehicle

Salary is negotiable based on experience + mileage + bonus scheme.
