Business Development Manager

Berry Recruitment are working in partnership with Celtic Manor Resort to help them add to their exceptional Sales team.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on business to business sales in the event space/hospitality arena. Your place of work will be second to none and you will be selling space at one of the most prestigious resorts in the UK, along side their other portfolio of properties. You will have an event space for all ranges of business, no matter their needs. Their reputation is built on exceptional service, outstanding hospitality and exceeding expectations, all of which depend on the outstanding personalities, performance and professionalism of their exceptional team of people.

As the Business Development Manager your duties will include:

• Contributing to the process of growing and maintaining business.
• Represent the company to win new or repeat business.
• Hosting client hospitality events and showcasing The Collection to prospective customers
• Attending industry events to promote the Brand.
• Identify and follow-up on every sales opportunity
• Achieving set targets.
• Build strong client relationship.

In the Business Development Manager position you will need the following skills/attributes to succeed:

• A passion for sales
• Excellent face to face communication
• Sales experience in a Business-to-Business environment
• Understanding of the events space/hospitality market
• Able to build strong client relationships.
• Major key account experience.
• Able to understand your portfolio on offer to ensure the best fit for the client.
• Professional and personable approach to all your client interactions
• Capable of selling for a market leader
