Business Development Manager

Covering the North 

Monday - Friday (37.5 hrs per week)

£40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a well-established structural / construction materials testing and investigations organisation.

The role is mainly UK based and overseas Business Development may also be required. Your base will be in Coventry with occasional visits to the London site as and when required. You will be responsible for arranging client visits and attending industry exhibitions, seminars and award ceremonies. Your time will also be spent engaging in community outreach activities, including schools, colleges and universities to inspire the next generation of drilling staff and geotechnical engineers.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Earth Sciences or relevant subject
  • CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A full appreciation of the UK Geotechnical and Ground Engineering industry
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of the UK Ground Investigation industry
  • Understanding of market drivers and influencers
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of Construction industry contracts
