Business Development Manager

Rainham, Essex

£30000 - £40000

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

My client, a well established and successful business based in Rainham, is looking to expand their team and recruit a proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing customer accounts, building new customer associations as well as expanding existing customer relationships by selling a full range of products.
  • Analysing past and existing customer orders to identify and seek more sales opportunities.
  • Identifying gaps and new trends in the marketplace.
  • Working with the technical team to assist in the launch of new and improved products.
  • Working with the marketing team to improve online and social media presence.
  • Attending trade shows both in the UK and worldwide.
  • Assisting with general day-to-day business activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within sales, additional commercial and/or management experience would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel and attend exhibitions, both in the UK and worldwide.
