I have recently partnered with a full-service people consultancy comprising 70 dedicated professionals with locations across the UK & Ireland. Their approach is centred on providing flexible, commercial and pragmatic people consultancy support across HR, H&S, L&D, Organisational Development and Whistleblowing Services.
They are a growing business on a journey to become a leading national player in the UK & Ireland for people consultancy services. They are seeking a sales person to take a lead role in building new businesses in London and South East England. Your new role

  • Working closely with the Commercial Director to define the sales strategy for your region
  • Working to sales targets agreed as part of the sales strategy;
  • Leading sales activities for HR, H&S and Whistleblowing compliance services with a focus on lead generation & conversion;
  • Actively identifying opportunities in strategic services such as Learning & Development, Organisational Development, and working with key individuals to progress these;
  • Actively identifying opportunities for the wider Group across a broad spectrum of services, including Virtual Finance, Payroll, Accountancy, Audit, Tax and Corporate Finance;
  • Creating pitches and proposals for prospective clients tailored to their needs;
  • Using your own and the Group's profile in the market to expand relationships and drive new opportunities;
  • Establishing a network of commercial relationships with third parties and the wider business community;
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, with a focus on profitability and client satisfaction;
  • Working in conjunction and collaborating with key team members from a technical perspective to win work;

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum five years of experience in sales;
  • Experience of a strong understanding of ideally both Human Resources and Health and Safety, particularly in a consultancy environment;
  • Ambitious individual ideally holding a senior-level role and has a demonstrable track record of growing profitability, ideally demonstrating geographic and client growth;
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including direct reports and Director level stakeholders;
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • A strong industry network of potential new business, recruits or partner agencies;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Comfortable with procurement and tender processes; and
  • Strong and passionate closer of sales.
