Job Title: Business Development Manager

Hybrid (2/3 days Soho)

£60,000-£75,000

Double OTE

Here is the role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving Sales, Revenue and GP targets with a clear and demonstrable track record of identifying, refining, and closing out opportunities with new clients. As an experienced Business Development Manager you will already have a strong foundation in Business and Digital Transformation including Operating Model design, IT service delivery, and IT service management.

  • Own the complete sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal
  • Following a 'Power Base Selling’ methodology
  • Create and execute a territory business plan
  • Create and execute sales campaigns within the sales territory
  • Nurture sales opportunities, entering new opportunities into sales pipeline
  • Able to communicate effectively with corporate professionals, establish respect, credibility, and relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised and with attention to detail
  • A client-centric approach to business
  • Taking full responsibility whilst still appreciating it’s a team effort
  • Strong written and verbal business communication
  • Working to deadlines and performing under pressure

This is what we need from you:

  • A minimum of two years proven experience of selling complex IT services projects to technical and business stakeholders
  • Proven experience of selling complex IT services projects to technical and business stakeholders
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • A holistic view of the business, ability to see the bigger picture
  • Ability to work with key internal stakeholders - sales, marketing, operations and consultants
  • Ability to work with key external stakeholders - Clients and Microsoft
  • Managing or adapting to change, pace, strategic direction

  • Excellent connections within Microsoft, both within the STU & ATU
  • Excellent client connections within target Industries
  • Experience in negotiation of terms and conditions
