Business Development Manager - Retail Intelligence

London - hybrid

Salary - £60k plus comms

Our client are looking for a real BDM who enjoys the hunting of new business. So if you love driving new business and come from a Business Intelligence or a SAAS sell, subscriptions, ideally with retail experience (but not essential) then we want to hear from you!

Joining the Marketing Solutions Division means becoming part of a robust team of 300 professionals operating in over 50 markets globally.

What you’ll be doing:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients location Intelligence team within in the Retail sector.

Our clients' team empowers major global brands to optimize spending and boost sales. They achieve this by strategically allocating resources to the right places at the right times. This is accomplished through value-driven software solutions or professional consultancy services that drive measurable change worldwide.

You will be an experienced and successful sales person, delivering innovative Route to Market strategies covering all channels (D2C, field, store, partner and digital etc.), that are deployed to provide seamless customer experiences and maximum sales impact.

Who you are:

  • Ideally possesses experiences in Business Intelligence, subscriptions, or SAAS
  • Essential new business experience
  • Proficient in closing large ticket sales
  • Results-driven with a professional approach to business development and a successful track record
  • Capable of uncovering and quantifying business issues
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams
  • Strong bid management skills
  • Good understanding of all Microsoft Office products
  • Experience of working in the FMCG/CPG sectors would be of benefit although not essential.

Development:

Your development is key and is a top priority for our client. Therefore they offer 3 types of training: externally run consulting courses, externally run bespoke courses and internal courses. Everyone has different training requirements which means everyone has their own training plan. A bespoke training plan will be created for you when you join our client!
