Business Development Manager/ Pharma
We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager with a Healthcare/Phamra background.
This role is Monday-Friday 0900-1730 although out of hours may be required and it is office based near Heathrow
Salary on offer is £50-80k plus commission and a car allowance.
Key Duties:
Responsible for consulting with customers with a logistics need, including Import and Export services related to Air, Ocean & Road Freight.
Focusing predominantly on clients within the Healthcare / Medical Devices / Pharma sector
Responsible for creating new business through contact with prospective customers in the assigned vertical sectors
Responsible for identifying market trends and competitive rate actions and communicating those trends to the Management team
Responsible for identifying, targeting, qualifying, and quantifying with directed sales that meet and exceed the business plan forecast
Develop and maintain short and long-term revenue & GP forecasts.
Achieve Gross profit targets and other company driven targets/KPIs
Responsible for identifying the competitive service strengths and weaknesses of the company and making recommendations to constantly improve services.
Qualification
Please only apply if the following applies to you:
5+ years of applicable experience in International Freight Sales.
Proven track record achieving business development targets within the healthcare / medical device / pharma sector
Must be familiar with the healthcare / medical device / pharma sector (trade bodies, industry regulations, networking groups)
Extensive experience in generating customers trading with the USA / Far East.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and CRM
Team player with a can do attitude
Must be a self-motivated new business "hunter"
Must possess a high level of technical sales skills.
