Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead profitable installation and maintenance ventures for our client's diverse industries in the North of England. Your focus? Selling compelling value propositions.

Our client specialises in fire systems. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have fire alarm knowledge and be able to design fire alarm systems!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Growth: Enhance customer value and attract new clients, nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Territory Strategy: Craft and maintain a growth plan, engaging key individuals for each customer.
  • Sales Expansion: Identify and seize opportunities, crafting quotes, and driving client proposals.
  • Initiative Leadership: Plan and oversee innovative marketing strategies to elevate brand presence.
  • Collaboration: Support Branch managers with project reviews, driving joint Fire & Security opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Industry Acumen: 5 years in the fire industry with a proven track record of success.
  • Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and company offerings.
  • Drive and Adaptability: Manage multiple accounts while actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Negotiation Skills: Understand client needs and adeptly navigate the negotiation process.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Fire Alarm and Fire Protection industry trends.

  • Engaging Communication: Excellent communication style with a customer-centric approach.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Proactive, resilient team player with a knack for continuous improvement.
