Business Development Manager (Environmental Services)

Our client has a unique exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager to join their growing team to do sales for environmental services such as environmental or asbestos surveying or flood risks. This role will be working from home, but you can be based out of an office closest to you. The company is involved in protecting the environment from hazardous impacts. You will be responsible for growing the new customer base, whilst exceeding your new business sales targets.

Main responsibilities:

  • Build a business plan to ensure targets can be exceeded
  • New client business development
  • Creating marketing campaigns and events to generate new business
  • Manage lead generation opportunities
  • Attend networking events
  • Work with subject matter experts to prepare quotations
  • Working with accounts teams
  • Ensuring you meet KPI’s and targets
  • Working on CRM Tools

Ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Demonstratable experience of consultative selling methods
  • Previous sales experience within the environmental services / consulting or risk management sector (flood risks, asbestos etc)
  • Must be able and willing to travel throughout the UK
  • Full UK driving license essential
