Location: Dundalk (Office Based)

Remuneration: €45,000 - €60,000

The role of the Business Development Manager - Commercial Heat Pumps will involve:

  • Business Development position selling a distributed range of air & water source heat pumps including installation, service & maintenance
  • 60% of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors with 40% being spent winning specifications with M&E consultants
  • You will spend 80% of your time generating leads and uncovering new business opportunities (ideally with your own network of contacts) with 20% being spent maintaining and cultivating relationships
  • Pro-actively source opportunities via cold-calling, email, virtual meetings, LinkedIn, CPD’s and other various channels
  • Lead sales negotiations and close agreements, able to answer questions & provide guidance
  • Conduct sales CPD’s, addressing the specific needs and requirements of each client
  • Dealing with an average project value of £4.5m
  • Targeting large district heating schemes, high rise residential & healthcare
  • Primarily targeting projects in and around Dublin but will cover all of ROI

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Commercial Heat Pumps with:

  • Must have a proven track record in the sales of HVAC or renewable products
  • Must have a technical understanding of commercial heat pumps or related systems: commercial boilers, heating controls, fan coils, HIU’s, VHR
  • Ideally will have pre-existing contacts within the industry
  • Would consider an individual with a mechanical engineering background looking to move into sales
  • Exceptional communicational and presentation skills
  • Highly organised, able to manage own day-to-day
  • Energetic and passionate
  • Team player
