Role Description

This is a full-time office-based role for a Business Development Manager to join an established recruitment team at A1 Personnel.

A Business Development Manager at A1 Personnel is responsible for creating and developing business opportunities, establishing contact with potential clients and developing those relationships to maximise potential revenue for the agency. Collaborating with internal resourcing teams to ensure that client needs are met, the Business Development team are responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets by identifying companies that require the services of a recruitment agency to fill permanent roles or to supply temporary workers.

Skills and Experience

You will have:

  1. Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  3. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
  4. Self-motivated and target driven.
  5. Have a driving licence and vehicle so that sales meeting can be attended.
  6. Be IT proficient so that all sales records can be kept up to date on the Salesforce database.

You will be able to:

  1. Work autonomously to achieve a successful end to end sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  2. Network and develop relationships with telephone-based sales calls, social media, face to face meetings and online meetings.
  3. Close sales to the point of commencement of recruitment services, either temporary or permanent.
