Business Development Manager - Automotive R&D

Are you a Business Development Manager with a keen interest or experience within automotive R&D? Do you have good commercial skills or knowledge of the funding landscape for UK research and innovation?

My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to work closely with research teams to identify and secure wider industrial engagement. They require support within the domain of Intelligent Vehicles.

Do you have an interest or experience in Transport Safety Systems or Autonomous Vehicles? Perhaps you have experience within Data and Visualisation, Human factors, Communication & Connectivity or Cyber Security? The ideal candidate will have some experience in one of these topics and the ability to pick up and understand new technologies through training and development.

On a day to day basis you will be dealing with key stakeholders so excellent communication skills as well as commercial acumen is needed. This is both a technical and management role where you will be tasked with delivering new growth opportunities within collaborative research opportunities.
