Due to continued growth our client a market leader within their sector is now recruiting for a new Business Development Executive to work within their team across Lancashire and North Yorkshire - Clitheroe and Ripon specifically. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to learn new skills and help further develop a growing team.

Job Role - Business Development Executive

Contract - 4 days a week

Working Hours - Typically 8-430, but will need to be flexible as to attend events.

Reporting to - Operations Manager & Managing Director

PRIMARY TASKS

  • Researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better
  • Contacting potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings
  • Preparing client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and Sales displays
  • Meeting new and existing clients in person
  • Pitching products and services to new customers & offering new services to existing customers
  • Meeting sales goals and ensuring you are working towards set targets at all times
  • Maintaining client, investor and other business stakeholder relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Preparing and delivering pitches to potential investors
  • Attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events
  • Collaborating with senior members of staff to identify more effective marketing strategies.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on the company’s business products, processes and operations and remaining up to date on industry news.
  • Generation of content and upkeep of company social medias alongside current members of staff

DESIRABLE

  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Relevant qualification in Business and/or previous Business Development Experience
  • Strong work ethic and desiring to learn new skills.
  • Candidates should be hardworking, flexible and conscientious.
  • Good problem-solving skills aligned with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work in small teams and able to use own initiative if working alone.
  • Self-motivated and the drive to succeed.
  • A basic understanding of surveying principals and construction.

SALARY - £25-£30,000 PRO RATA.

INCENTIVE AND BONUS SCHEMES AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY TO THIS ROLE

Hours/days per week - Ideally 4 full days, but schedule will need to be flexible to suit business events and conferences. One day will be based in Clitheroe, another in Ripon and the other days will be remote depending on scheduling & business requirements.

My client is offering a highly competitive rewards package including company pension, and generous annual leave- 28 days based on full time employment plus Bank Holidays and a day off for your Birthday.
