Overview of the role:

We are looking for a Junior Business Development Executive to join our Business Development department. The purpose of this important role is to generate new and qualify existing leads. You will be contacting prospective clients with the intent of booking a meeting for our sales team. This will be done by using our lead qualification process and finding companies who are considering changes to their real estate/office plans.

Duties:

  • Making outbound calls to prospective clients.
  • Researching, contacting, and questioning a range of people within a company, from senior decision makers to office and facilities managers.
  • Calling specified sections of the existing companies database.
  • Qualifying lease information from subscription databases.
  • Canvassing buildings to identify new opportunities in buildings where we have worked or are currently working.
  • Track and develop a portfolio of high growth companies.
  • Running targeted calling campaigns into specific sectors where we have a successful track record.
  • Visiting key buildings to obtain a list of tenants and scope out possible movers.
  • Building relationships with prospective clients.
  • Managing personal pipeline.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years in a BD/sales role. (Not essential).
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Confidence & experience with making outbound calls is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • CRM experience is preferred.
