Business Development Executive

Annual Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Location: Bradford

Job Type: Full-time

Reed is recruiting on behalf of a leading distributor of home fitness and leisure centre products, are client based in Bradford are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their Sales team on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. If you have a proven track record in sales or account management and are looking to further your career, we invite you to apply.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, both locally and in the Far East, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Be involved in all aspects of sales order processing and dispatch.
  • Efficiently lead new staff as the business grows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to analyse market trends and customer needs.
  • Computer literate, competent with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to adopt Order Wise - our back office ERP system.
  • Previous experience in sales or account management is required.
